“Contrology” as Joseph Pilates named it, focuses on the core postural muscles that keep the body strong, limber, and balanced. He believed that his method uses the mind to control the muscles.  Pilates will lengthen, straighten, and strengthen your body.  If you have an injury or surgery, Pilates will help improve your function and strength as you heal.  If you suffer from weak abdominals, tight hamstrings, back pain, repetitive strain, or just want to improve your quality life, then JOIlates is for you!
